Notes about the final exam:
- 5 points were added to everyone’s final exam score as a result of so many people filling out course evaluations (thank you!). When actual final grade calculations were made, your total exam maximum was out of 450 points ([3x100]+150+5), so the bonus points were really bonus points. As noted in the syllabus, exam points are 75% of your grade.
- I personally reviewed your final exam if it was close to a grade cutoff to see if there were any adjustments that could be made in your favor.
- If you submitted a regrade for the final exam, I may not have responded to you personally but I considered every submission, and if it made a difference in your final grade calculation.
For those planning to go on to Chem 202D, please read the enclosed (click the triangle). You can ignore this part if you're not.
I really enjoyed working with you all this semester (some of you, two semesters!). You were a great group. Whether you're going on to Chem 202D (Orgo 2) this Spring, Summer, later, or never, I wish you the best of luck in future endeavors. Please don't hesitate to stop by and chat; my door is always open. (And please re-introduce yourself in the future. I tried my best to get to know you all this semester, but I tend to forget names once we're not seeing each other every few days!)
